Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Integration & Test Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting advanced defense and aerospace programs. This role is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, documenting, and maintaining test solutions for complex electronic systems and subsystems.
The successful candidate will lead the development of Test Program Sets (TPS) for the Lockheed Martin LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and eCASS automatic test equipment (ATE) systems. This position offers a wide variety of technical challenges supporting RF, analog, digital electronics, Electronic Warfare (EW), Electro-Optics, and communications technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Test Program Sets (TPS) for LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and eCASS systems.
Lead a team of TPS developers while providing technical guidance and project leadership.
Collaborate with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering teams to develop customer-specific test solutions.
Plan, implement, execute, document, and maintain subsystem and system integration and testing activities.
Develop test procedures, test plans, and automated test software.
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective system test solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
Define functional and technical test specifications.
Troubleshoot hardware and software integration issues.
Perform subsystem and system-level testing and validation.
Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports.
Write discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing to verify corrective actions.
Utilize standard electronic laboratory test equipment throughout development and integration activities.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Integration & Test Engineering or a closely related engineering role.
Experience developing Test Program Sets (TPS).
Demonstrated project leadership and technical leadership experience.
Experience with hardware and software integration.
Proficiency using standard electronic laboratory equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead development of test programs using:
PAWS ATLAS, and/or
NI TestStand
NI LabWindows/CVI
Preferred Experience
