Job Description
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Audio Visual (AV) System Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing design, development, and commissioning complex AV systems from concept to completion. This role collaborates closely with clients, architects, and project teams to ensure high-quality design, documentation, and integration aligned with client's standards. If you have a strong technical background in AV systems and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
Lead AV design efforts from concept through construction documentation.Coordinate with account managers to define project scope, budgets, and deliverables.
Responsible for ordering equipment and dealing with labor pricing within budget.
Develop system drawings including schematics, riser diagrams, rack elevations, and detailed layouts.
Conduct site surveys and verify field conditions.
Perform full audiovisual system commissioning, including DSP configuration, video routing, and control system validation.
Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to resolve design challenges and ensure integration success.
Prepare detailed specifications and technical documentation for proposals and submittals.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
