The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work with limited supervision, a passion to learn and work on new subjects, and superb attention to detail. The position will participate in commercial and R D projects involving RF systems, instrumentation, assembly, measurements, troubleshooting, and commissioning. Occasional travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning may be required. Requirements B.S. or higher in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied or Engineering Physics, Control Engineering, Communications Engineering, or an equivalent field Excellent understanding of electronic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems from schooling, trades, or hobbies; can independently design, build, and test advanced circuits Pass an interview test for problem-solving, troubleshooting, and/or hands-on bench skills Good written and verbal communication skills Other Skills not required but which will strengthen the application substantially: Engineering specialization/concentration in RF/Microwave Electromagnetic, multi-physics, and circuit simulation experience: prefer ANSYS, CST, COMSOL, but may include ADS, Cadence, etc. RF design and testing including VNA, spectrum analyzer, and high speed oscilloscope FPGA programming (LabVIEW FPGA, Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL) and/or Vivado/Quartus experience Experience with delivering projects end-to-end, from planning to execution and completion Great understanding of feedback control systems Familiarity NI PXI/CompactRIO system.
