Job Description Acrive Antenna System Lead Engineer vacancy has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid. You will join the Antenna System Design & Validation Spain TSEDR2 group in charge of the definition, design and development of Active and Passive antennas mainly for Space applications. Antenna development forSPAINSAT
program for Spanish Defense applications or Galileo Antenna for Navigation are example of the impact of the group on Space activities. Our department is now working on several European Antenna systems and Antenna developments. You&39;ll be in charge of Active Antenna System Lead defning antenna concept optimisation, including all areas of technical expertise as mechanical, thermal, electical and radiofrequecy architecture needs. Role will support project to get best antenna design for market. You&39;ll develop your knowledge in antennas, and participate to Airbus Defence & Space development in this exciting domain. Ability to propose design optimizations in terms of cost, performance, production / assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured. Ability to identify the technical activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements. Required skills You will have the following skills and experience:- Educated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in Telecomunication, Aeronautical or equivalent engineering.
- Good knowledge antenna configuration concepts.
- Experience on Active and Passive Antennas for Space applications.
- Experience of ESA (European Space Agency) projects would be appreciated,
- Autonomy, reactivity and adaptability,
- Technical curiosity and pro-activity,
