Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations. Unload, inspect, and deliver appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other household equipment. Install appliances accurately following schematics, technical manuals, and safety procedures. Assemble appliances on-site, ensuring proper mechanical setup and functionality. Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on appliances, including electrical and refrigeration components. Communicate clearly with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction. Conduct field service tasks such as equipment repair, electrical connections, and system testing to guarantee optimal operation. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, installations, repairs, and service calls for accountability and quality assurance. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC components, and equipment repair techniques. Prior delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles; valid driver's license required. Knowledge of assembly processes for household appliances and ability to interpret technical manuals. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform basic electrical work safely. Mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
