Duties & Responsibilities:
Interested in hardware and FPGA engineering? Gain real world experience while working as a hardware co-op at Viavi Solutions! You will work on a product development team to bring a product to market. You will assist with the various stages of the design process such as circuit design and testing, troubleshooting, writing HDL code and test benches. You will work closely with other engineers to create market leading solutions for communications test and measurement. Pre-Requisites / Skills /
Experience Requirements:
Completion of at least one year of undergraduate education toward a degree in CPE, EE, or CS Knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering concepts, practices, and procedures Familiarity with FPGA or CPLD programmable logic (e.g. Altera or Xilinx) using HDL coding (Verilog or VHDL) preferred Familiarity with the use of common lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, meters) Familiarity with schematic, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g. spice) preferred Knowledge of data communications and telecommunications protocols and concepts preferred If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
