Job Description
Technical Operations Engineer $120k-$150k + Unrivalled Progression Opportunities + Medical + Prescription Coverage + Dental + Vision, Life insurance + PTO Franklin, North Carolina (commutable from: Waynesville, Union, Prentiss, Burnington, Elijay) Are you an experienced Engineering professional with a background in defence and military electronics looking to take ownership of engineering operations, supplier strategy, and the execution of complex programs? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing defence technology business where you'll work at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and business development. You'll play a key role in ensuring programs are technically executable, materials are available, and engineering projects move efficiently from proposal through production. This is a great opportunity to join a company working on technically challenging military electronics programs, where your work will directly influence program execution, supplier performance, cost, quality, and delivery. You will be responsible for developing BOMs and procurement strategies, supporting proposals, managing component lifecycles, developing supplier relationships, mitigating obsolescence risks, and coordinating cross-functional engineering and manufacturing activities. This role would suit an Engineering professional with a defence electronics background who has experience with BOM development, component sourcing, supplier management, and military electronics design or sustainment programs.
