This role focuses on the design, analysis, testing, and integration of analog and high-voltage power systems, including HVDC power architectures, power electronics, control systems, and power conversion technologies. The hiring manager is seeking a highly technical engineer with strong analog circuit design expertise, hands-on laboratory experience, power systems knowledge, and the ability to lead complex engineering efforts from concept through verification.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong experience designing analog power electronics and power conversion systems. Experience designing High Voltage DC (HVDC) power systems and power modules. Experience with multiple power converter topologies ranging from low-power designs to kilowatt-level systems. Expert-level proficiency with electrical engineering CAD and circuit design tools. Strong mixed-signal circuit design and analysis experience. Advanced analog circuit design, instrumentation, and circuit analysis expertise. Experience with feedback and control systems design. Knowledge of power system architecture, power distribution, grounding, and high-voltage applications. Hands-on troubleshooting experience with complex electronics and power systems. Proficiency using laboratory test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and electronic test instrumentation. Experience writing technical specifications, requirements documents, and verification procedures. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot circuit card schematics and electronic assemblies. Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience leading design efforts or providing technical leadership on complex engineering projects. Ability to travel as required.
