Job Description Audio Visual Systems Engineer Raleigh, NC Join Next Level Technician as an Engineer-Level Audio Visual Service Technician in Raleigh, NC! Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex AV systems in commercial environments Provide advanced support for conference room systems, video conferencing platforms, and control systems Program, configure, and commission AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.) Support and maintain DSP systems, audio tuning, and signal flow troubleshooting Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, and preventative maintenance Read and interpret AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, and system drawings Work directly with clients to resolve issues and provide technical support Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure system performance and reliability Document service work, updates, and system changes Requirements 5+ years of commercial AV installation or service experience Strong troubleshooting skills across audio, video, and control systems Experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE devices) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience with DSP programming (Biamp, QSC, BSS, etc.) CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification Experience supporting enterprise or corporate AV environments Experience with Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, or similar platforms Manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, QSC, etc.) Why Work with Next Level Technician in Raleigh, NC?
