Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs technical tasks of limited scope with assistance. Learns to set up electronic, mechanical, optical units to ensure equipment performs to specification. Provides technical support of process piping and electro-mechanical systems as related to semiconductor equipment installations Work involves isolating and defining unknown conditions and resolving critical problems Ability to lay cabling and to perform construction work in accordance with specifications and procedures Ability to take physical field measurements and conduct facility verification Ability to use measurement tools

Requirements:

Communicates in a clear, accurate and courteous manner with customers and colleagues Projects a positive and professional image of self and WGNSTAR Proficiency with common hand tools: adjustable wrenches, drivers, torque wrenches, socket drivers, etc. Interest in the semiconductor industry and latest technological advances Working in cleanroom experience

Educational Requirements:

2-year associates degree in electrical, mechanical, or related field, plus 2-5 years related experience in mechanical/electrical engineering within semiconductor industry

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
