Job Description

BigFoot Staffing is excited to offer you this direct hire opportunity to join our client's industry-leading field service team in the Medford market! Our client has built a very positive name for themselves over the last 75+ years, they're seeking great long-term employees who're reliable and self-sufficient to join their team. As a Field Service Mechanic you'll repair and maintain commercial air compressors, pumps, and vacuum systems at various customer sites. This is a great opportunity for any industrial mechanics to transition their skills and grow with a great company!
Essential Job Duties of Field Service Technician:
Use sketches, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair machinery. Diagnose issues using tools and troubleshooting methodology. Inspect, listen, and dismantle machines to find malfunctions. Measure and inspect parts for wear or misalignment. Apply knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanics, and pneumatics. Test and replace faulty electrical components. Troubleshoot PLCs with diagnostic tools.
Additional Job Duties:
Maintain company vehicle. Organize and manage truck's stock parts and tools. Complete paperwork promptly and legibly.
Qualifications:
Apply mechanical and electrical principles. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Some overtime and occasional overnight travel.
Preferred Skills:
Recognize common mechanical and electrical components. Effective system troubleshooting skills. EPA Universal and refrigeration training. Strong customer relations skills.
Physical Demands:
Lift 10-100 lbs. Perform various physical activities while working on industrial equipment.
Pay Rate:
$25 - $40 per hour
