Full-Time | Exempt Position Overview We are seeking a Program Engineer to serve as the technical liaison between customers, sales teams, and engineering groups throughout the lifecycle of complex engineering programs. This individual will support both new product development initiatives and existing product qualification efforts while ensuring technical requirements, schedules, and customer expectations are met. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals, project coordination skills, and excellent communication abilities to successfully manage technical relationships and drive projects to completion. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical interface between customers, sales teams, and engineering groups. Coordinate and communicate technical requirements, project status, and deliverables. Gather, organize, and present technical information to support customer requirements and program objectives. Support proposal reviews and assess technical compliance with customer specifications. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with requirements. Provide product-level technical expertise regarding functionality, capabilities, and qualification status. Support new product development programs and ongoing product improvement efforts. Protect and manage sensitive technical and intellectual property information. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, and customer-facing personnel. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizen. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a technical product environment. Strong project or program management capabilities. Understanding of electrical and electromechanical systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting regulated or highly technical industries. Familiarity with product qualification, certification, or compliance activities. Knowledge of environmental, electrical, software, or hardware qualification standards. Experience interfacing directly with customers and cross-functional engineering teams. Background supporting complex technical products from concept through deployment. Work Environment Full-time onsite position. Located in Wichita, Kansas. Relocation assistance may be considered for qualified candidates. No remote or hybrid work options available.
Recruiter Notes:
Strong electrical engineering knowledge is highly preferred. Candidate must be comfortable in a customer-facing technical role. Communication skills are critical. Must be willing to relocate to Wichita and work onsite. Aerospace, avionics, electronics, electromechanical systems, power systems, and related engineering backgrounds are all worth exploring.
