Senior Advanced Project Engineer - Military APUs Honeywell Aerospace Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support the Engines and Power Systems (E&PS) organization within the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Project Engineering department. Specifically, you will primarily support an APU development project, as well as in-service APUs for USAF aircraft platforms. You will report to the Sr. Engineering Program Manager, and work out of our Phoenix site on a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities Meet technical performance measures and project-specific process requirements. Plan and coordinate all aspects of the assigned engineering work scope. Manage requirements, control scope, and execute baseline change management. Execute projects within budget (including capital expenditures) and on schedule. Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and knowledge, which are critical for U.S. Government programs. Achieve design-to-cost targets and design-for-manufacturability, testability, and reliability goals. Ensure compliance with U.S. Government policies, procedures, and guidelines for new development programs. Communicate project health and status to stakeholders, including CBT, M&PM, and Engineering Leadership. Manage OEM customer relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and status reporting. Work closely and effectively with Repair and Overhaul Engineers to address in-service issues.
