Supports tape-out work to both internal fabrication facilities as well as external foundries. Conducts design rule checking and layout versus schematic verification on chip design layouts when needed. Performs floor planning for production and development test patterns. Prepares reticle and mask data, collaborating with the process design kit team on data processing to ensure ground rule cleanness and data integrity. Writes automation scripts for basic layout and data preparation functions. Supports the integration team for technology development on new mask layer definition and enablement, as well as metrology and lithography structure introduction. Coordinates quality assurance on reticle data review and release, and works with photomask shop vendors on delivery. Interfaces with other engineering teams, including design, fabrication, and technology development, as well as mask vendors, to facilitate the flow from new product development to manufacturing. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field followed by 3 years related experience.
