Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer AV for a direct hire opportunity in Dallas, TX with an established technology systems integrator serving enterprise clients across complex Audio-Visual, communications, lighting, and security environments. This role is ideal for a highly technical AV professional who can work independently, solve complex system issues, and deliver advanced Audio-Visual projects from installation through commissioning and customer training. The Field Engineer AV will support sophisticated AV systems for professional, high-profile client environments where reliability, performance, and user experience are critical. This opportunity offers the chance to work with leading-edge AV technologies, collaborate with skilled project teams, and continue building expertise through exposure to advanced manufacturer platforms and technical training. Key Responsibilities
- Write and modify DSP files and coordinate DSP control with control system programmers.
- Configure advanced Audio-Visual systems including AMX, Biamp, Cisco, Crestron, Polycom, matrix mixers, switchers, and codecs.
- Configure IP-addressable devices such as routers, switches, servers, and related networked AV components.
- Drive project deliverables from installation through commissioning, final inspection, troubleshooting, and system acceptance.
- Load, test, troubleshoot, and validate control code to ensure reliable system performance.
- Train customers on system functionality, operation, and best practices for day-to-day use. Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation range: $40 to $43 per hour, based on experience.

- Travel is required to customer locations, fabrication facilities, and manufacturer locations for advanced technical training.
