Job Description General Information As an AMT (Advanced Measurement Technology) Engineer, you are part of the global AMT Team, delivering advanced metrology, laser tracking, scanning, and precision measurement solutions for critical rotating equipment worldwide. You take technical ownership of field projects and work closely with customers, field teams, and our engineering organization to support overhauls, troubleshooting, and field service activities. Based in Houston, this role offers the opportunity to help implement and expand AMT services within the U.S. organization while supporting projects globally. We are looking for a proactive engineer who enjoys technical challenges, problem solving, customer interaction, and hands-on field work. Significant travel to customer sites is expected during the initial phase as the

program continues to grow and develop. As AMT services continue to grow in North America, this position offers a clear path toward future technical leadership and the opportunity to help build and develop the

team. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation and growth of AMT and metrology services within the U.S. organization

Perform laser tracking, scanning, metrology, and precision measurement services at customer sites

worldwide

Take technical ownership of field projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and

customer communication

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement standards, methodologies, and best

practices

Support troubleshooting, technical problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

ground and Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical training with relevant hands-on

experience

Experience in field service, rotating equipment, turbomachinery, metrology, or the energy industry is

preferred

Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and prepare structured technical reports

(mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specifications)

Experience taking technical ownership of field projects, leading project execution, and working

directly with customers Professional Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities

Excellent communication, customer-facing, and interpersonal skills

Well organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
