Duties:
Responsible for X-FAB Owned Technologies processed in X-FAB Texas. Engineer must be able respond to process issues with holistic approach for the technology. Provide interface between the fab, customer engineering and customer. Provide guidance to process engineering in the understanding of process changes and the impact on the product. Provide information to other integration engineers regarding issues to aid in understanding overall issues within the fab. Must be able to give direction to test engineering and be able to electrically test primitive structures. Design and execute tests for improvement and problem investigation into a manufacturing environment. Work to continually improve the process. The ability to assist co-workers as workload demands is required. Work with SiC and III-V materials is possible.
Responsibilities:
Process and probe yield improvement Process test design Probe yield analysis Data analysis skills FA strategies for problem resolution Drive process solutions Assist in capacity analysis Interface with local and remote / customer product engineering Provide customer support Bench testing of primitive structures Support to Process Engineers on process tests Parametric disposition Summarize, present and publish experimental results to all associated groups Current Skills /
Competencies:
Curve tracer experience Understanding of parametric test structures use and layout Strong Device Physics or Semiconductor Physics knowledge WBG/SiC Device Physics manufacturing knowledge Understanding of process flow and interactions Project management skills Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work seamlessly with individuals from multiple nationalities. Proven team worker & self-starter Flexibility (work schedules may vary) Good problem solving & decision making skills Technical understanding of 0.6 to 2um Mixed signal CMOS technology and High power semiconductors Technical understanding of WBG/SiC processes An understanding of Wafermap and data analysis techniques. Knowledge of the XPERT Manufacturing System is a plus Must meet ITAR Citizenship requirements
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Current
B.S./M.S.
degree in EE, EET or Physics or Engineering Physics
