Type:
6‑month contract to hire
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00
PM EST Compensation:
up to $85,000 annually
Interview Process:
1 round, in‑person Overview A manufacturing and industrial technology organization is seeking a Manufacturing Electronics Engineer to support shop floor operations with a strong focus on electronic repair, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. This role is ideal for candidates coming from an electronics technician or electronics engineering background who enjoy hands‑on work, failure analysis, and collaboration with technicians to improve manufacturing and repair processes. Key Responsibilities Support daily shop floor operations by troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuit boards Perform electronic testing, soldering, and failure analysis on components and assemblies Prepare detailed repair reports and recommend best‑practice repair proposals Collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and QA teams to ensure product quality standards Identify obsolete electronic components and develop alternative solutions as needed Utilize CAD tools and LabVIEW to support testing, modeling, and process improvements Required Skills Minimum 2 years of electrical or electronics experience (internship experience accepted) Bachelor's degree in engineering or an Electronic Technician certification Strong background in electronic repair and electronic troubleshooting Hands‑on experience soldering circuit boards and performing failure analysis Ability to diagnose issues at the board and component level Experience with CAD modeling and LabVIEW Prior experience working in a manufacturing or shop floor environment Plusses Robotics or automation background Experience supporting QA or compliance standards in manufacturing
Pay:
Up to $85,000.00 per year
