Job Description

Job Title:
Electrical Quality Control Inspector Job Description As an Electrical Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all energy-related events on-site. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that changes in energy events align with project schedules and comply with site-specific Control of Hazardous Energy Requirements. You will lead documentation processes, audit field documents, and assist in commissioning processes to ensure adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Assist in creating and maintaining site-specific Control of Hazardous Energy requirements. Review and validate safety programs for site-specific trade partners, vendors, and third parties. Authorize applications for changes in energy on-site. Support the commissioning process to ensure startup activities meet energy requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders including project owners, staff, and vendors. Participate in the six-step quality control and safety process. Maintain documentation associated with change of energy requests. Conduct audits in field conditions to verify authorized applications. Identify hazardous conditions and establish safe boundaries. Evaluate field activities to ensure processes are followed. Report discrepancies to the Project Management Team. Coordinate with utility providers to establish safety conditions. Identify operational requirements for voltages ranging from low to high voltage power transmissions. Coordinate with vendors and trade partners for safe equipment operation. Participate in First Time Energizations and First of Kind activities. Provide on-site training on electrical safety and awareness. Request, collect, and catalog submittals from trade partners. Integrate with Facility Solutions and Commissioning Associates. Review, develop, and coordinate systems readiness and performance test drafts. Conduct field observations for construction status verification. Lead and mentor Facility Solution Associate I and II. Implement activities related to Operational Project Readiness (OPR). Essential Skills Electrical expertise Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite OSHA 30 certification Quality control and inspection skills Project coordination Knowledge of construction and health & safety standards Energy analysis and environmental safety Commissioning and facilities management Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience 2-5 years of relevant work experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Proficient in Microsoft Project Problem-solving skills Work Environment This position requires working on-site every day. The role involves physical activities such as walking, kneeling, sitting, and climbing. You will operate computers and other office machinery, and will frequently communicate with employees and stakeholders. The job may expose you to varying temperatures, noisy environments, and outdoor elements. Visual acuity and the ability to operate a vehicle are required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Kuna, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
