Job Description:
Senior Performance Analyst | New York (Full-Time) This role leads performance measurement, analytics, and reporting across investment portfolios, serving as the internal authority on methodology, composite construction, valuation, and reporting standards. The position partners closely with investment, client, compliance, and operations teams while coordinating with external reviewers. Responsibilities include overseeing daily return calculations at both account and composite levels, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining data integrity across performance systems and benchmarks. The role delivers periodic reporting and evaluates dispersion trends. It also manages composite membership, ensures adherence to industry standards, supports compliant presentations, and coordinates external verification processes. Additional duties include reviewing security valuations, approving pricing exceptions, and contributing to valuation governance. The analyst conducts multi-period attribution to explain performance versus benchmarks and helps develop consistent analytical frameworks, translating results into actionable insights. The role supports client reporting by producing customized materials, responding to inquiries, and assisting with RFPs and presentations. Candidates should have significant experience in investment performance within asset management, strong knowledge of performance standards, and expertise with reporting systems and data tools. Advanced Excel skills are required. Professional certifications (CIPM, CFA), multi-asset experience, and familiarity with automation tools are preferred.
