Job Description

Forecast and Uncertainty Analyst Are you passionate about leveraging data and cutting-edge tools to ensure the stability of the power grid? Join our dynamic team as a Forecast and Uncertainty Analyst, where your expertise will directly contribute to reliable, real-time energy operations. This critical role combines data analysis, tool development, and operational forecasting to support our Client's System Operations, playing a vital part in shaping the future of renewable energy and grid stability. In this position, you ll develop sophisticated analytical tools, support renewable generation onboarding, and enhance forecasting methodologies helping us meet the evolving challenges of the energy sector. Job Details:
Ability to work on-site 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays) -Audubon PA 12 months contract W2 Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to do any sponsorship of visa or C2C Willingness to continuously learn and improve forecasting techniques Strong ownership mindset, proactive approach, and curiosity to explore innovative solutions
Required Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage complexity and navigate ambiguity Technical troubleshooting skills supporting operational tools Effective team-player with excellent communication skills Nice to
Have Skills:
Master s degree in a related field Experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, and advanced Excel Knowledge of Energy operations, markets, or planning functions
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in a STEM discipline Prior experience in energy forecasting or system operations is a plus Familiarity with renewable integration, electrification, and recent industry trends
