Energy Marshal Job Description An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, especially in complex environments like data centers. Responsibilities Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA. Review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures. Coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders. Participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation. Maintain and update relevant documentation, including single-line drawings. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical systems and safety standards. Extensive knowledge of

NFPA 70E.

Experience in data center environments. Familiarity with electrical construction processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications More than 10 years of experience in electrical contracting. Attention to detail and quality-minded approach. Work Environment The position follows a work schedule of four 10-hour days and two 8-hour days. It involves working in a dynamic environment, particularly within data centers, where adherence to safety protocols and precise documentation is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr.
