This position supports U.S. Space Force (USSF) providing Energy and Resiliency program management. This position will lead mission-assurance energy initiatives that ensure uninterrupted power for critical space operations. This requires extensive experience in utility-scale energy projects, microgrid design, and DoD energy resilience. What You llDo:
Develop resilient microgrids and advanced energy solutions- including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and alternative systems
- while conducting feasibility studies and navigating DOE/NRC regulatory pathways.
Bring:
Bachelor s degree and a minimum of 10 years experience in large-scale energy projects, including microgrids or advanced nuclear. DoD Energy Resilience Knowledge- Understanding of DoD policies, federal procurement, and mission critical power systems. Regulatory & Compliance Navigation
- Experience working with DOE, NRC, and federal siting/safety requirements. Technical Risk & Vulnerability Assessment
- Ability to evaluate mission dependencies and infrastructure vulnerabilities. Classified Mission Integration
- Capable of supporting TS level resiliency programs and sensitive operational timelines.
Compensation Expected Salary:
$100,000- $110,000 Versar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
