With offices in eight states across the country and a growing workforce of over 700 employees, ION Solar is providing a simple, affordable way for homeowners to switch to solar. A Design Validation Specialist contributes to Ion Solar by confirming solar designs with customers, handling any changes to the system layout/size and completing financing change orders throughout the solar process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Call customers once their final design is created to confirm their layout Assist customers with the layout of the panels to provide maximum production and aesthetics Work closely with the design department if any changes are needed to the system. Process financial changes Create and retrieve updated contract documents Communicate changes and issues effectively with sales representatives in the field Field inbound customer calls with design inquiries

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required Customer service experience required Solar experience preferred Salesforce experience preferred

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter interruptions throughout the work day.
