Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to mission-critical aerospace projects, and gain hands-on experience in mass properties analysis. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for recent graduates passionate about aerospace, mechanical systems, and advancing national security initiatives. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain mass properties models for advanced launch vehicles and subsystems
- Perform weight and balance analysis to estimate and optimize system mass properties
- Establish design target weights and track compliance throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain mass properties accounting systems and deliver trend analysis to program leadership
- Support proposal evaluations, design reviews, and generate operational documentation
- Conduct component weighing and verification to enhance estimate accuracy
- Present technical findings in reviews and meetings
- Engage closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and communicate status Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related STEM field
- 0-5 years of engineering experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Detail-oriented and collaborative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic CAD proficiency
- Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance (active clearance required) Preferred Skills
- Experience programming with Microsoft Access VBA and Excel Macros
- Independent project completion with minimal oversight
- Practical experience with mass properties (mass, center of gravity, moments of inertia)
