Atlanta, GA OVERVIEW Position Summary As a Co-op, you will be part of the team from day one and given training and tasks that are important and impactful to our projects' success. You will gain an understanding of the importance of TAB in the construction industry and energy efficiency of building systems. Position Details Success in this role depends on the Co-op's initiative and teamwork skills. A successful Co-op will gain practical experience in estimating project costs, creating budgets, and applying key industry standards such as ASHRAE and NEBB. McKenney's has a long history of success in hiring Co-ops and supporting their evolution into industry leaders. Many of our current senior leaders began their journey in the Co-op program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Assist TAB project management with estimates, RFIs, and project quotes and proposals. Assist in the creation of project documentation—including reports and test forms. Develop or revise CAD drawings and schematics to support accurate field execution. Analysis Analyze field data for performance verification. Read and interpret project mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment performance data to determine proper balancing techniques and project management approaches. Management Properly maintain opportunities in Salesforce. Communicate directly with customers to ensure proposals are received on time. Participate in regular jobsite visits and ensure feedback is provided to team members and supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Students must be enrolled in a Co-op program at an accredited engineering school majoring in Construction Management, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related major. Experience Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of Word, Excel, Web-enabled applications, and database software. Schedule Candidates must be able to complete at least three full-time Co-op rotations prior to graduation. 1st

Spring 2028. Skills Ability to use time productively. Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as within a team. Maintain a strong attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication across multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Project Managers, field staff, drafting). Strong reasoning, math, science, and technical skills.
