Program Structure Juniors:

Two rotations required

Seniors & Graduate Students:

One rotation required About the position The Loads and Dynamics team is responsible for all aspects of static loads, dynamic loads, and flutter analysis at Gulfstream. Working closely with senior engineers for support and oversight, you will gain meaningful experience solving technical challenges in the areas of structural dynamics and aeroelasticity. Your work may include the following: Performing static and dynamic ground/landing gear loads analyses, including formula and landing conditions

Generating and analyzing aircraft structural dynamic responses and corresponding load distributions for tuned and continuous gust conditions

Performing aircraft flutter analysis for nominal, parametric, failure, and repair scenarios

Assessing aircraft repairs and modifications for flutter impacts

Assisting in the development of new tools and methods for loads analyses Education Requirement Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace Engineering

Mechanical Engineering with coursework in Aerodynamics or an Aerospace concentration/certificate Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027.

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume Preferred Skills Enrolled in a graduate degree program with a focus on structural dynamics or aeroelasticity

Experience with MATLAB

Finite Element Analysis and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics experience

Other Requirements:

Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.

Rotation Requirements:

Juniors - 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students - 1 rotation.

Minimum duration:

12 weeks (summer); 14-16 weeks (spring and fall). Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
