Description:
PCG Consulting International is a trusted leader in construction management and project advisory services. We specialize in delivering complex infrastructure projects in highly regulated, operational environments. Our team partners with owners, contractors, and public agencies to execute mission-critical work including major airport projects across the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented Field Engineer to support construction operations at DFW Airport. This role will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to ensure projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all specifications and safety standards in a highly regulated airport environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily construction activities, coordination, and field operations Review project plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance Perform field measurements, layout, and quantity tracking Support scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and airport personnel Ensure adherence to FAA, airport, and project-specific regulations Assist with quality control and inspections to verify work meets standards Track materials, equipment, and production quantities Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, daily reports, and as-builts Identify and help resolve field issues to maintain project timelines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1-3+ years of construction or field engineering experience preferred Experience with paving, roadway, or airport projects is a plus Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced field environment
Work Environment & Requirements:
Work performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible shifts as required (common in airport operations) Must be able to pass background checks and obtain clearance for airport access Valid driver's license required
