5 What does a DSD Planning Supervisor do at Swire Coca- Cola? The DSD Planner Supervisor is responsible for Distribution and Sales planning, including short term strategic plans. They will provide guidance, strategic vision and support through deep analysis and understanding of field operations. Will leverage standard process, time with people, and utilizing technologies to enable effective and efficient execution in the field through the planning process.
Responsibilities:
Function as the primary point of contact for distribution planning functions Communicates and influences internal stakeholders on optimal decision-making Extraction, modeling, and presentation of accurate information to influence daily operations through tracking measures of success and collaborating with Hometowns for solutions to improve results Responsible for the development of direct reports and successors, sharing subject matter expertise, and continually evaluating the effectiveness of the planning process providing solutions to improve performance in the field Collaborates cross functionally to develop a strategic planning approach to drive efficiencies, process improvements, and cost reductions using program/project management methodologies Provides leadership to ensure effective cross-functional approach to frontline initiatives Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required or 4+ years of progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required Experience in area of Logistics Operations preferred APICS, Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt, and Project Management experience preferred Working knowledge of SAP, LEO, Samsara, Forms.com, and Microsoft Suite Strong analytical skills in the areas of SAP, Excel Ability to travel across Swire Coca-Cola territories (20%+) Must have strong written and verbal communication/ presentation skills with timely follow-up Come and join our Sparkling team!
