Project Manager / Project Engineer - Civil Site Development Lead your civil engineering career where your work shapes communities and major development projects across the Southeast. - Manage one or multiple civil site development projects for a diverse portfolio of public and private clients
- Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of projects
- Lead proposal preparation and fee development efforts to support business growth
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
- Visit client offices, job sites, and consultant locations to support project execution and business development
- Oversee engineering work and ensure alignment with project objectives and company standards
- Monitor project performance using Vantagepoint, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
- Supervise, mentor, and develop engineers and technicians
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions effectively to clients and leadership What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 15+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
- Experience producing residential, commercial, and/or industrial site development plans
- Extensive experience managing civil site development projects in a consulting environment
- Strong understanding of civil site design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing focus
- Demonstrated business development experience and client relationship management
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring teams
- Understanding of business financial metrics and project performance
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
