As we continue expanding our Caltrans work throughout Northern California, we're looking for an experienced Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on roadway, paving, grading, underground utility, and infrastructure projects. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day field operations on heavy civil and Caltrans projects Coordinate crews, equipment, subcontractors, and project schedules Partner closely with Project Managers to safely deliver projects on time and within budget Build strong relationships with owners, inspectors, and clients Mentor Foremen and develop field leadership Ensure compliance with Caltrans specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements Provide field expertise during estimating and preconstruction planning What We're Looking For 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience 5+ years leading Caltrans or comparable DOT projects Strong background in roadway, paving, grading, underground utilities, or civil infrastructure Proven experience leading field crews and multiple Foremen Deep understanding of Caltrans specifications and inspection processes A collaborative leader who earns respect through technical expertise, integrity, and accountability-not ego Compensation & Benefits Significant long-term earning potential as the company continues to grow Company vehicle Flexible PTO for salaried employees Bonus opportunity based on company and individual performance Why Goebel?
