Job Responsibilities & Requirements What You Will Do:

Responsibilities Responsible for the effective leadership of an engineering team. Mentor other professional engineers and engineering managers to promote their professional growth. Lead projects while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Review customer specified parameters for building components. Discuss design modifications and reviews appropriate design methodologies with customers. Resolve customer issues and complaints. Maintain harmony among workers and resolves grievances. Assign customers to engineers and manages workload distribution among engineering team(s) and sealing engineers. Answer technical questions from customers and team members. Support development of procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. Review work done by MiTek Engineers In Training (EIT) for accuracy and seals their work. Supports innovation and aligns goals with company objectives.

Qualifications Bachelors Engineering required Masters Civil Engineering preferred Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis 6+ Years of related experience required 2+ Years of management experience required Able to perform mathematical skills such as calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and able to apply concepts of basic geometry Ability to read and understand prints and schematics Able to use Microsoft Office Applications Licensed Professional Engineer - Any State Board Upon Hire required Additional Requirements 5% Little to none.
