  • Full-time This position will serve as the working Site Foreman for the San Diego, CA area of an industry leading company's Indoor Air Quality Division.
Job entails providing onsite engineering, technical support and service for maintenance, operation, repair, and testing on board US Naval Vessels and Commercial Locations. Responsible for establishing and meeting production schedules, including quality and cost objectives. Assignment of personnel and resources for all tasks. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Experience in Project Management is a plus
  • Experience with Naval ship and commercial HVAC systems is a plus
  • Must be able to read basic blueprints
  • Experience working on board a Naval ship is a plus
  • Active DOD Confidential or Secret Clearance is a plus. Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret level clearance.
  • Must have a clean driving record and pass screening of insurance company
  • Work is located in industrial environments including Naval shipyards and on
Naval Vessels:
climbing ladders, carrying/lifting 50 lbs higher than three feet above floor level, kneeling.
  • Experience working with sheet metal a plus
  • Experience working with: hull, mechanical, and electrical maintenance and repair is a plus
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as experience communicating with senior level Ship's Force and government personnel.
  • Must be able to assess and proactively address potential production and schedule issues.
  • Travel will be required between 25-60%
