$115,000•$135,000 per year Job Details•We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering operations and drive continuous improvement across our production environment. This high-impact leadership position is responsible for optimizing manufacturing performance, strengthening process discipline, improving equipment reliability, and enhancing operational efficiency. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, oversee engineering and maintenance functions, and implement initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost reduction, and automation. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Leadership & Continuous Improvement Lead and champion continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable gains in efficiency, quality, and cost performance. Provide leadership, coaching, and development for engineering and technical teams. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that improve productivity, reduce costs, and support long-term operational goals. Partner closely with operations to resolve technical challenges affecting production, throughput, and product quality. Identify and execute opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Automation & Process Engineering Lead automation projects and establish long-term automation strategies to improve manufacturing capabilities. Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to support process development and continuous improvement efforts. Support materials and process engineering initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance and product quality. Assist with new product introductions, ensuring manufacturing readiness and successful production launches. Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Oversee maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Drive initiatives that reduce unplanned downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for manufacturing and equipment-related issues. Quality & Manufacturing Systems Perform and support FMEA, CFAT, PPAP, and other manufacturing quality processes as required. Maintain manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Document Change Notices (DCNs), ensuring compliance with ISO/TS standards. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of BOMs, routings, and manufacturing records. Support manufacturing operations across domestic and international facilities as needed. Travel Travel periodically to support manufacturing operations, projects, and business objectives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience within an industrial production environment. At least 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing operations. Strong background in process improvement, manufacturing systems, and operational excellence. Experience developing and executing Design of Experiments (DOE). Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering methodologies, including FMEA and PPAP. Proficiency with CAD software; SolidWorks experience preferred. Strong understanding of ERP systems, BOM management, routings, and manufacturing documentation control. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new ERP and manufacturing systems.
