Job Description
Overview:
Our client is a well‑established national civil engineering and land development firm with an active and established client base throughout Southern California. They are seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to support a steady flow of ongoing work while also helping expand their Los Angeles-area footprint. This role will focus on leading land development projects across commercial and industrial developments, serving as a key point of contact for clients, and supporting the continued growth of the regional practice. This position offers the opportunity to step into a leadership role immediately while playing a meaningful part in shaping the future of the Southern California operation.Compensation & Benefits:

California PE License required 10+ years of civil engineering experience with a strong focus on land development Proven ability to manage projects from early planning and entitlements through design and construction support Experience supporting an established client base while contributing to new work development Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and internal project teams Business development experience, including proposal support, scope development, budgeting, and fee negotiation Experience supervising and mentoring engineering staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams Strong technical background with the ability to contribute across grading, drainage, utilities, and site design Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Familiarity with Southern California permitting processes, agency coordination, and regional regulatory requirements Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Practice BuilderUSA USD 130000
