Job Description

One of the most exciting roles in tech right now: reporting directly to the CEO and owning AI transformation across every function of a global SaaS company. CriticalArc CriticalArc is the company behind SafeZone®, the unified safety, security, and emergency management platform deployed across higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and critical infrastructure in more than 80 countries. SafeZone delivers real-time situational awareness, distributed command and control, mobile-first personal safety tools, and mass and targeted communications — allowing safety and security teams to provide "Safety Everywhere" for the people they protect. What You Will Do You will identify, build, and scale practical AI-enabled workflows that improve speed, quality, consistency, and decision-making across go-to-market, customer success, customer operations, finance, and broader business functions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role. You will understand how teams work today, find where AI creates real leverage, prototype solutions quickly, and help teams put them to work safely and effectively. This is an internal-facing role, but close collaboration with the engineering team means your work will naturally influence the product roadmap too.
Responsibilities:
Identify high-impact AI use cases across sales, marketing, customer success, operations, support, and finance, then design, prototype, and deploy the workflows Turn institutional knowledge into reusable playbooks, prompts, knowledge bases, agents, and repeatable workflows that teams actively use Establish practical standards for AI usage, including validation, documentation, human review, privacy, security, and governance Coach teams on effective AI use and help move them from ad hoc experimentation to embedded operating practice, leaving teams more capable than you found them, not dependent on a single person Partners with product, engineering, and business systems teams where integrations, data access, or security input is required Track AI use cases, application, impact, risks, and lessons learned across the business Who You Are You are genuinely curious and self-starting, deeply engaged with what AI can do and how organizations put it to work, and you have the hands-on experience to back it up. You understand how businesses operate end to end, and you're as comfortable talking to a sales team about pipelines as you are working through technical integration with engineering. If you're coming from a technical background, you won't feel out of place here, CriticalArc is a tech-forward SaaS company building real-time safety software used in the field every day. The tools are cutting edge, the team is technical, and the work matters.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience applying AI, automation, or workflow tools in a business context Strong understanding of commercial, customer success, or business operations workflows; experience with CRM and business systems expected Technically capable enough to build, test, and deploy practical solutions. Experience with prompt and workflow design, low-code/no-code tools, API literacy, and comfort with data manipulation Good judgment around risk, data privacy, confidentiality, and human review; familiarity with
SOC 2, ISO
27001, or GDPR is a plus Excellent written communication, including the ability to create clear templates, playbooks, prompts, and internal guidance You can influence without formal authority and introduce change with tact Nice to have: Background in revenue operations, customer operations, sales enablement, business operations, or consulting; experience in a scale-up environment; familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, agents, or workflow orchestration Benefits Comprehensive healthcare benefits 401K plan with a 6% company match Bonus eligible Hybrid flexibility; Denver, CO strongly preferred; remote considered Phone reimbursement Paid holidays Commitment to ongoing professional development, including executive training programs, industry conferences, and professional networking opportunities CriticalArc is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture that celebrates innovation, teamwork, and personal growth.
