PROCESS ENGINEER

Position Overview The Process Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring manufacturing processes are standardized, safe, efficient, and capable of consistently delivering high-quality products on schedule. This role drives continuous improvement across operations by developing and maintaining standard work, optimizing cycle times, and supporting new product launches and process implementations. Through cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision-making, this position directly impacts key operational performance targets including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. What you'll do Lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of standard work procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across assigned processes. Drive process performance by defining and maintaining cycle times, labor standards, and operational efficiency metrics on a regular basis. Lead and coordinate multiple small-to-medium engineering and improvement projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business priorities. Conduct regular Gemba walks and safety process reviews to identify risks, implement countermeasures, and promote a zero-incident environment. Develop and maintain PFMEAs and lead cross-functional reviews to proactively reduce quality risks and cost of poor quality. Support new product launches and process introductions, ensuring successful LV1 readiness and seamless implementation of standards. Lead capacity studies, layout optimization, and process flow improvements in collaboration with Industrial Engineering and Packaging teams. Drive Engineering Change Notice (ECN) execution, packaging validation, and trial activities while ensuring compliance, timing, and budget adherence. Remove operational roadblocks and escalate critical risks or issues to engineering leadership as needed. All other duties as assigned. Who you are Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering (5+ years preferred). At least 1 year of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience in project management or leading cross-functional initiatives preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels. Highly detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to work independently. Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%. Physical requirements: ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments; frequent standing, walking, and computer use; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance and climbing ladders up to 10 feet; constant visual and auditory attention required in production areas.
