JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work at customer location 5 days a week
  • Process Leader for industrial planning and Internal shop / supplier lead for measure delivery performance, capacity assessment and plans, engineering change plans, transition plans, line of balance input, product cost support, identify risks and drive mitigations
  • Engineering changes and associated activities. Provide 2x updates to production chief organization.
  • Participate on IPMT, PIPT and tiered escalation activities. Provide weekly status to Production Chief organization.
  • Coordinate long term capacity and rate readiness assessments, track actions to achieve rate.
  • Provide weekly updates to production chief organization.
  • Long term planning, risk identification, mitigation and SIOP activities to support program ramp and provide weekly updates to production chief organization.
  • Coordinate and create material for internal and customer reviews (Production planning, SIOP, IQR, IPCA, etc)
  • Prioritize and manage production readiness assessments; develop, track, and close action items to increase capacity and capability at suppliers
  • Identify risks to supplier production ramp, continuing fleet sustainment, build mitigation plans, and drive actions to closure
  • Up to 10% travel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience as a process leader, industrial engineer, manufacturing supply chain, program/project management or a related field
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Prior experience with risk assessment and engineering changes
  • Prior experience leading a team and managing constantly shifting priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Experience working with and interfacing with executive level management
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and pivot as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications and Power BI
  • Experience implementing and driving lean manufacturing techniques and industrial planning and processes
