Electrical Project Manager Join One of Connecticut's Premier Electrical Contractors We're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join one of the most respected electrical contractors in Connecticut. This is a high‑visibility role for a proven leader who wants to manage impactful projects, work with strong field teams, and grow with a company known for quality, stability, and professionalism. You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, and multifamily projects, partnering closely with seasoned superintendents, foremen, and executive leadership. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Top-tier Connecticut contractor with a strong reputation and consistent backlog Local projects only — be home every night High trust, high autonomy role with executive visibility Stable leadership, strong field teams, and well-established processes Opportunity to influence outcomes, improve margins, and mentor future leaders Competitive compensation and benefits with long-term growth potential What You'll Do Lead and manage a portfolio of complex electrical construction projects across multiple sectors Own the full project lifecycle: preconstruction through closeout Drive financial performance through accurate forecasting, cost control, and change order execution Partner with superintendents and foremen to ensure schedule, quality, and safety expectations are met Identify scope gaps, mitigate risk, and resolve design or constructability challenges Maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Provide clear, concise project updates to senior leadership Mentor and develop project team members, reinforcing accountability and excellence Support process improvements, standardization, and best practices across the organization What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 7+ years of electrical construction experience 5+ years managing projects through the full lifecycle Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasts Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Project Sight Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with RFIs, submittals, buyouts, take-offs, and change orders E1 or E2 Electrical License (or ability to obtain) Comfort presenting to executives and influencing cross-functional teams Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Newtown, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
