Salary:
$80,000 - $85,000 annually Position Summary We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer or Technical Account Manager to support customer projects by managing the sourcing and procurement of mechanical components while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements. This role works closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver quality products on time. Key Responsibilities Review customer drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine sourcing requirements. Source and procure machined parts, mechanical components, and technical products from qualified suppliers. Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding technical requirements, pricing, and delivery schedules. Review engineering drawings to ensure materials meet customer specifications. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements. Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support customer projects. Manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate purchasing documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field preferred. Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of machining processes, CNC manufacturing, or precision-machined components. Experience in technical purchasing, engineering support, project management, or technical account management. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial environment is a plus. #Pro123
