Job Description
General Superintendent•Gainesville , VA $100,000•160,000 A growing heavy civil/site contractor is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple projects in the Warrenton, VA area. This role requires a high-level field leader with strong experience in total site development and utility construction . Key Responsibilities Provide oversight of multiple job sites and field crews Lead execution of site development projects including grading, utilities, and infrastructure Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources across projects Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with plans and specifications Work closely with project management, clients, and subcontractors Drive jobsite safety culture and enforce company safety standards Mentor and develop Superintendents and Foremen Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in heavy civil/site construction Strong background in sitework, utilities, grading, and total site services Experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications Proven leadership and team management skills OSHA 30 preferred Benefits Long‑term, stable project pipeline Health insurance and comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Opportunity for advancement into senior leadership Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Pacific Northwest Sales Manager
