Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and construction practices. This role requires effective leadership skills to coordinate teams, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Duties Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation. Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs and budgets. Oversee project scheduling using tools such as Microsoft Project to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain safety standards on the construction site. Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Skills Proficient in project management documentation and tracking. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and methodologies. Experience in construction management with a focus on electrical projects. Excellent project scheduling skills with familiarity in tools such as Primavera. In-depth understanding of electrical systems and components used in construction. Ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills for presenting information clearly to diverse audiences.
