As a Plant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and control of the plant's quality testing and reporting system within the plant. What you'll be doing: Providing development and maintenance of the quality testing/reporting system. Responsible to develop, coordinate, support, train, assist, and facilitate within all attributes of the Quality Management System Point of contact for all Customer issues, lead corrective actions, and ensure Sonoco is meeting all customer requirements. Responsible for the Advanced Product Quality Planning Process (APQP) Lead the continuous improvement program. Reduces variation within work tasks to improve process efficiency and quality. Managing the specification, test methods, instructions, and audit processes. Ensure quality records are maintained. Develops best practices for each operation within the plant and trains across all shifts as required This position is located in Dalton, GA. We'd love to hear from you if: You have a four-year degree, preferably in the sciences or engineering (or equivalent experience). 2+ years' experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system. Six Sigma Green Belt certified is preferred
