Job Description

Lead complex power generation and utility engineering projects across planning, design, operations, modernization, and construction support. You'll combine deep technical expertise in power generation, electrical power systems, and microgrid engineering with client relationship management and project management responsibilities — serving as SME, Project Manager, and/or Quality Manager on assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
Support power generation engineering across conventional, renewable, distributed, and behind-the-meter systemsPerform electrical power system studies (load flow, short-circuit, protective device coordination, reliability)Support utility-scale power plant projects across planning, design, operations, modernization, and constructionConduct power plant/equipment life-assessment investigations and condition assessmentsPerform microgrid engineering, including distributed generation, storage, controls, islanding, and resiliencyConduct technical and financial analysis, including feasibility studies, cost evaluations, and ROI assessmentsSupport environmental compliance and utility interconnection effortsDevelop generation concepts, single-line diagrams, design criteria, specifications, and technical reportsSupport client relationships, WIP/AR tracking, and business development leadsServe as Project Manager on select projects: manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality, and deliverablesPrepare monthly progress reports, invoices, and supporting documentationDevelop and implement project-specific safety plans; ensure regulatory complianceMaintain technical proficiency and professional licenses/certificationsMentor technical staff and support training initiativesDevelop project execution plans, basis of design, and manage discipline interfacesServe as subject matter expert (SME), resolving complex engineering issuesConfirm engineering/documentation readiness for procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning
Required:
