Job Description
Overview The Chief Engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering operations within our organization. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of all engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, and high-voltage equipment. The Chief Engineer will lead a team of engineers and technicians, manage maintenance activities, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Duties Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure optimal performance and development. Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and high-voltage equipment. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals and improve processes. Provide technical guidance on industrial maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques. Train staff on the use of tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Skills Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and across departments. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, logic controllers, and high-voltage equipment. Expertise in industrial maintenance practices with a focus on safety and efficiency. Experience with maintenance management principles and CMMS software. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to engineering challenges. This role is essential for maintaining our commitment to excellence in engineering operations.
