- Manage one or multiple civil site development projects for residential and private sector clients
- Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery
- Lead proposal preparation and fee development efforts
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
- Visit client offices and project sites to support project execution and business development
- Oversee engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed
- Monitor project progress using accounting and project tracking tools
- Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians as part of project teams
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions effectively What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 6+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
- Experience producing residential site design plans and working with residential clients
- Strong understanding of civil site design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, and budgets
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Demonstrated business development skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising project teams
- Understanding of business financial metrics and project performance tracking
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
