Job Description
Quality Manager:
People & Process manager with 5 years of quality experience and BS Degree in Engineering or Science You will lead end-to-end manufacturing and fabrication of water filtration equipment, including laser and saw cutting, welding, painting, and final assembly. Partner closely with the Sr. Quality Manager and Thomasville Operations Director, collaborating across the Thomasville team to drive quality excellence and achieve key business objectives. The Quality Manager is accountable to support the quality needs of the Thomasville campus operations. This is an on-site position. Typical hours would be 7:30 to 4:30. This is a fully on-site position based at the Thomasville, GA campus. Standard working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Responsibilities:
Five Direct Reports Data & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and report Customer DPD (Defects per Delivery), Supplier PPM (Parts per Million), COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality), & NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)Team:
Lead and manage a team using the MDI (Manage for Daily Improvement) process, providing guidance, feedback, and supportRoot Cause Analysis:
Champion the 8-Step problem solving processCustomer Focus:
Understand customer needs and incorporate feedback into processesNon-Conformance Reporting:
Manage the NCR processSupplier Management:
Monitor supplier performance and lead root cause analysisDrawing Improvement:
Partner with Engineering to track and resolve drawing improvements (ECMs)Quality System:
Design and implement quality procedures and standardsISO 9001
Lead the Thomasville location toISO 9001

BS Degree in Engineering or Science field required ISO 9001 or equivalent experience required 5+ years of Quality Manufacturing experience required 5+ years of Quality Management experience preferred Certifications an advantage including Certified Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, and/or Six Sigma Green Belt Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
