Active Secret Clearance Position is contingent upon contract award. Position Overview SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a highly qualified SDV Planner to support LOGSU-8 in Pearl City, Hawaii. This position provides technical planning expertise in support of the maintenance, sustainment, certification, and lifecycle management of SEAL Delivery Vehicle (SDV) MK 8 systems and the transition to and sustainment of Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS) systems. The SDV Planner supports work package development, records management, technical reviews, certification documentation, research, testing coordination, and maintenance planning to ensure operational readiness and compliance with applicable technical and quality requirements. The PWS identifies one SDV Planner billet at LOGSU-8 Pearl City and assigns this role toSDV/SWCS
planning support functions. Key Responsibilities Provide technical expertise for planning work packages in support of maintenance onSDV MK 8
vehicles and certification management of SWCS vehicles. Oversee planning, records management, technical design reviews, research and development support, construction and fabrication support, temporary modifications, boundaries, and quality maintenance processes associated with SDV and SWCS lifecycle sustainment. Support mechanical and electrical planning for all MK 8 SDV and SWCS assets assigned to LOGSU-8. Conduct technical procedure and data research and assist in the preparation and tracking of Liaison Action Requests (LARs), Technical Deficiency Evaluation Reports (TMDERs), and Technical Feedback Reports (TFBRs). Ensure technical adequacy and accuracy of work being performed and verify that all specification requirements are met through applicable technical standards and specifications. Obtain and maintain technical and engineering drawings, standards, specifications, developments, and changes required for modernization and sustainment of SDV and SWCS vehicles. Review program manuals, maintenance requirement cards, test procedures, engineering calculations, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to ensure safety, compliance, and technical accuracy. Ensure all Controlled Work Packages (CWPs) and Formal Work Procedures (FWPs) contain correct and current initial conditions, material requirements, procedural steps, inspection and test requirements, Objective Quality Evidence (OQE), and restoration steps. Assist in developing specifications for standard and special material procurement and maintenance concepts throughout the SDV and SWCS lifecycle. Maintain SDV and SWCS technical manuals, training aids, and drawings, and assist in instructing military personnel and management staff on technical procedures and processes. Review test data and help prepare reports summarizing conclusions to verify compliance with technical requirements. Coordinate assigned work against completion schedules and priorities and provide status, feedback, and analysis to the Repair Officer and SDV Maintenance Officer. Coordinate with applicable divisions to complete administrative and technical procedures required to repair, install, test, inspect, recertify, and certify SDV and SWCS systems and components. Review design proposals and technical data to ensure proper documents, procedures, and drawings are available and updated to support certification sustainment. Identify safety procedures, concerns, and steps associated with assigned work and ensure revisions to scope, boundaries, testing, and material requirements are reflected in written CWPs and FWPs. Write clear, concise, and technically accurate work procedures to the appropriate level of detail for skilled maintenance personnel. Operate Government vehicles as required in performance of assigned duties. Minimum Requirements to be considered Minimum of 6 years of experience with U.S. Navy submarines or submersible platforms. Minimum of 6 years of experience with submarine mechanical and electrical systems or components. Minimum of 6 years of experience developing and writing Controlled Work Procedures (CWPs), Requisitions (RECs), and Formal Work Procedures (FWPs). Minimum of 6 years of experience with U.S. Navy submarines QA Program. Minimum of 2 years of experience withNAVSEA 9290
requirements. High School Diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of related experience, or BA/BS plus 2 years of related experience. Active Secret Clearance required. Prior military experience preferred. Work Environment / Additional Conditions This position supports LOGSU-8 under theNSWG-8 IMD DCS/DDS/SDV
Program Support effort, which is performed primarily in and around Pearl City, HI and Little Creek, VA. The SDV Planner billet is specifically identified for LOGSU-8 Pearl City, HI. Travel may be required in support of meetings, briefings, conferences, working groups, courses, training events, inspections, and other mission requirements, as authorized by the Government. Contractor personnel supporting this task order are required to maintain the applicable security standards and may require access to Government facilities and systems in performance of official duties.
