Job Description

RFA Engineering ( www.rfamec.com ) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility. Operations Planner Experimental Operations Planner will work closely with engineering and wage personnel. You will be responsible for the scheduling and facilitation of product testing and experimental shop operations. Responsibilities Work closely with experimental shop supervisor to plan and schedule project work. Oversee build activities in wide range of test facilities Work closely with wage personnel to complete VISION work requests Run reports, manage work requests and document progress updates Create detailed plans for each project to outline execution strategy including objectives, schedule, and cost. Drive contact with leadership team throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines and grow the relationship. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project. Desired Skills Engineering Mechanical/Agricultural Degree, Business Degree, or Project/Program Management Experience. Have a strong understanding of Experimental Shop practices and processes. Have a strong understanding of working with Wage Personnel. Desire to learn from others in a team environment. Knowledge and experience in test and evaluation. Effective time management skills demonstrated within a multi-functional team. Excellent organizational skills to effectively plan and schedule shop activities. Must be able to adapt to changes in schedule and testing priorities. Requirements Ability to work up to 45 hours per week Ability to start as early as 5:30 AM Able to work 100% onsite at John Deere Dubuque Works Must have a valid driver's license.
