Electrical Project Manager -
Semiconductor Project Location:
Boise, ID Pay Rate:
$50-$75/hr (DOE) About the Opportunity A fast‑growing electrical contractor in Boise, ID is hiring an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support a large-scale semiconductor project with work projected through 2027. This is a long‑term, highly visible opportunity supporting critical infrastructure within a cleanroom environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on Electrical PM who can operate autonomously, adapt quickly to change, and own their scope from estimating through close‑out in a Sell / Estimate / Manage project delivery model. What You'll Be Responsible For + Oversee the electrical scope within the cleanroom building envelope, including: + Fan Filter Units (FFUs) + Lighting systems + Safety showers + Manage an expanded scope following the removal of the telecom contractor, including telecommunications coordination + Lead project planning, schedule execution, job cost tracking, and project close‑out + Maintain full budget responsibility, including approval of change orders + Write detailed scope proposals and manage: + Change orders + RFIs + Submittals + Serve as a hands‑on leader, stepping in quickly when challenges arise + Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with internal teams and clients + Successfully manage project changes in a fast‑paced, evolving environment What We're Looking For + 3+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects valued at $10M-$50M + 8-10 years of total experience preferred + Proven experience with: + Full budget ownership + Schedule execution + Job cost tracking + Project close‑out + Direct electrical construction experience (required) + Experience with telecom or cleanroom building envelope projects strongly preferred + Estimating experience highly preferred (ability to write detailed scope proposals) + Ability to work independently and manage autonomously is a must‑have Why This Role + Long‑term project stability with work projected through 2027 + Opportunity to support a high‑profile semiconductor facility + Join a fast‑growing electrical contractor with: + ~25% projected annual growth + A strong backlog + Additional major pursuits in progress + High visibility, real ownership, and the ability to directly influence project success Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boise, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
